Abstract:

How can AI serve justice rather than undermine it? This session gathers legal experts, technologists, and policymakers to explore AI’s application in law, from predictive policing to courtroom automation. Together, they’ll tackle opportunities and risks, with a focus on fairness, accountability, and ensuring that justice remains truly just in the age of machines.

Speaker Biographies:

Hamdan Azhar — Hamdan Azhar is a data scientist, writer, and storyteller whose work bridges technology, culture, and society. A former Facebook, BlackRock, and Cash App data leader, he has published in WIRED, Forbes, and The Washington Post, and spoken on stages from The Moth to global tech conferences. He co-founded Bitcoin Center NYC, co-invented a patented emoji machine learning system at Facebook, and is the founder of the Muslim Writers Collective.

Enushe Khan — Enushe Khan is a Business Operations Leader at EvenUp AI, a unicorn in personal injury AI and document generation. She helped drive the company’s 10x growth, focusing on product, operations, and strategy.

Ramy Ibrahim — Ramy Ibrahim is an attorney in New York City working as corporate counsel for Amazon’s AWS service, advising on responsible AI policy and contracts.

Samy Harmoush — Samy Harmoush is who people seek for justice-oriented representation in their careers. Managing Attorney at Workers’ Advocate Law Group PC (Hudson Yards, NY and Manhattan Beach, CA), the trial attorney has represented tech executives, hedge fund managers, AI researchers, and others facing wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, or retaliation—plus thousands of class member workers. Having battled insurance carriers underwriting tech companies’ EPLI, he knows corporations reduce workers to risk figures. Securing multiple seven-figure wins, fighting the hollowing out of this generation’s brightest. He has defended professionals fired for supporting human rights. Raheela Ahsan — Raheela Ahsan is a corporate and securities attorney and the founder of Ahsan Law Firm, where she provides strategic legal counsel to startups, funds, and investors across the technology and finance sectors. Her practice focuses on fundraising transactions, regulatory compliance, and investment structuring. Outside of her firm, Raheela is passionate about serving her community and advancing inclusive, values-driven leadership across the legal and business worlds.
